The British School of Tirana (BST) is a diverse learning community doubled by an excellent work environment for international teachers. We employ around 70 people in a variety of teaching and support roles. Whatever the roles, respect, teamwork and community are always top of mind. This collective approach ensures that we provide high-quality teaching and excellent services to parents and students seeking an outstanding education in Tirana.
The British School of Tirana is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), the British Albanian Chamber of Commerce and  a Pearson International School since April 2021.

 

Our Work Environment

 

Located in a unique setting with a culture that embraces all in a positive, caring and warm environment, BST has over 350+ enrolled students from Early Years to Sixth Form from more than 10 nations worldwide.

The school offers a friendly, nurturing and positive working environment particularly suited for young teachers, those moving internationally for the first time and those ambitious teachers with plenty of classroom experience looking to move up into more senior roles and develop leadership and management skills.

All applicants are subject to a rigorous screening process that includes: verification of qualifications; obtaining two supervisory references (including current employer’s) and obtaining current and previous Police Checks.
