Qualifications

The IGCSE offered in Year 10 and 11 at BST is a two-year programme of study which students follow between the ages of 14 and 16. Designed and administered by the University of Cambridge International Examinations Board (CIE), IGCSE has been specifically created for international students, although it is also taught by top national schools in countries such as the UK. It is accepted as a preliminary requirement for entry into all UK universities, and is recognised by universities and colleges around the world.

 

Core subjects:

English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Co-ordinated Science (double award), English (as a Foreign Language) English Literature. In addition, students can choose to take three additional subjects, from: Economics, Global Perspective, Travel and Tourism, History, Geography, Digital Skills, Art, Music, PE.

 

In Year 10 (klasa 9-te) Albanian and other students can enroll for the National Albanian Examination of Compulsory Education where 3 subjects are tested, Maths (in Albanian), English Language and Albanian Language.
