Our Primary School is located in the peaceful residential area of Kodra e Diellit 2, within a bright, two-storey building designed to inspire learning from Years 1 to 6. Classrooms are open, airy, and welcoming, creating an engaging environment where children can thrive.

The school benefits from excellent facilities, including a library, gym, art room, and computer lab, all integrated into our learning spaces as “resource centres.” Younger pupils in Key Stage 1 also enjoy a dedicated playground that supports outdoor learning and play.

The school day runs from 09:00 to 15:45. All primary year groups follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales, which we continually develop to prepare children for a global and ever-changing world.

Our experienced teachers tailor lessons to meet each child’s needs, embedding essential life skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and independence, across the curriculum and through our well-resourced library and free online library access for families.

Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2)

Key Stage 1 lays the foundation for learning for children aged 5 to 7 years old. Our approach focuses on the whole child, supporting academic progress alongside personal and social development in a safe and caring environment. Children follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales and take part in Phonics Screening (Year 1) and Standardized Assessment Tests (SATs at the end of Year 2). Core subjects include English, Mathematics and Albanian (taught daily), alongside Science, Computing, PSHE, Humanities, Art, Music and Physical Education. Learning is creative, thematic and delivered in English by our qualified international teachers.

Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6)

Key Stage 2 supports children aged 7 to 11 years old as they grow in confidence and independence. Teaching is varied and engaging, with pupils working individually, collaboratively and as a class. Teachers use a wide range of resources and strategies with children, working individually, co-operatively in small or large groups and at times as a whole class

Children learn to work in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect and can enjoy an extensive programme of extracurricular activities which provide additional opportunities for children to express and enjoy themselves at Primary school, not only academically, but also in sports, art and music. Every term, there are whole school thematic weeks such as science week, art and culture week and specific activities such as sports tournaments, World Book Day and many more where children are encouraged to engage with cross-curricular work rather than subject centered.

The journey from Year 3 to Year 6 enables children to unlock the potential scientist, historian, author, mathematician or artist that they may become.
